Random Plot Idea: High School Drama

I have had this around for a long time and its good stuff, practically spelled out for you, but I for some reason or another, cannot write this. I think that I am too old to identify with the teenage aspect of it any longer so WIN for you, now you guys get it. Take or leave the names, places and what not. I just needed something to differentiate the characters and locations other then saying "The girl" or "The boy" and at "The place".

This is a crap title I put on it so feel free to change that too.

                                    Forbidden Fate

                                    ~Time-Line~
Short hand:

Day before & First day ~> later in the year ~> “Going out” ~> First time ~> The brake up ~> Gone but not forgotten ~> separate lives ~> back Again (welcome home) ~> for good ~> For us

Breakdown:

~Day before & First day: Two different perspectives on the first day of school. Lisa is a freshman and Conner is a junior in High school. The class they have together is drama class. Introductions are made via embarrassing class participation thing…

~ Later in the year: They have done a few things in class together, though there is a big production coming up so there isn’t a whole lot of actual learning going on. There is heavy flirting going on between Lisa and Conner. Lisa is amazed that a junior is even looking at her, let alone flirting.

~ “Going out”: Beginning of there relationship. Both shy, Lisa almost is almost mute with shyness and awe of an upper classmen liking her. Relationship goes slow at first. Lisa’s friends tell her that he won’t stay interested unless she hooks up with him.

~ First time for everything: Lisa decided in order to keep Conner interested she is going to instigate being intimate. She has never done anything aside from heavy petting and kissing so she’s nervous. Weary of doing something wrong and being laughed at for her efforts. She decided to say something but in the heat of the moment, her confession goes unheard. They have sex and she is relieved he hasn’t notices she was a virgin.

~ Breakup: Conner has been acting funny, but Lisa had been in trouble with parents for grades, so they haven’t seen each other out of school lately. Lisa was in English class, close to one of Conner’s classes. They usually meet by the bathrooms during class, steal a few kisses. Lisa spots Conner out in the hall lurking out of site until she can leave her class. She asks to use the bathroom, when she gets into the hall they walk toward the bathrooms but Conner doesn’t stop. He drops a note on the ground and keeps walking.

Confused, Lisa picks up the note and returns to class. It’s a breakup note. Lisa cries and gets sent to the counselor for being so upset.

~ Gone but not forgotten: Lisa eventually gets over Conner. After several attempts to talk to him were blocked by his friends, she threw herself into school and was becoming somewhat of a trouble maker.

She still attends the football games and cheers for him. Of course, there is still drama class that they have together. It’s awkward a lot of the time with a few vicious barbs at each other, but for the most part, they ignore each other.

~ Separate lives: the next year Lisa managed not to think about Conner for several months now. She’s dating here and there but nothing serious. Her trouble making had gotten worse. She hears about Conner sometimes, especially when he starts dating a girl from her class. Conner graduates and all other information come second hand from his girlfriend Katie, whom never really got along with Lisa.

Lisa dates a guy for about a year and a half but they breakup in they summer after graduation. Her cousin Dustin tells her that Conner and Katie are still dating. Suddenly Lisa cannot wait to get out of the small town and off the island.

It isn’t until a few years later that she finally able to split for California. She meets a there and after a year, they get married.

By chance, Conner and Lisa meet through a friend site on the internet. They talked as if they never broke up. Going back to their flirty and friendly ways and fondly remembering about the past. Some circumstances intervene and again they loose touch.

~ Chance meeting: six years later, Lisa has a daughter who is three years old named Leah. Lisa, Leah and Lisa’s mom were out shopping at the mall when Lisa goes back to the island to visit for a while. They are in a toy store for Leah and Lisa spots Conner by the video games. They start talking and agree to go to dinner.

~ First visit, first ‘date’ since breakup: Conner picks her up at her parent’s house. He said Lulu’s on the windward side, so they had a bit of a drive, but not bad and they get a chance to catch up.

They talk about trucks, they are both trying their hardest not to stare at each other and pay attention to what the other person is saying. Lisa falls silent Conner scolds her for fidgeting like old times and with that they seemed to fall right back into the friendship they used to have. Lisa talked about her daughter.

They finally get to the restaurant and are seated. Conner orders wine. They decide to do the typical first date questions. What’s your favorite color? Food? Place to visit? Recent movie?  Drink (alcoholic and none.)?

Conner orders for the both of them. The tension of the meal is starting to get thick, but there is no bitterness when the conversation turns to when they dated in high school. They both agree that would have rather experienced life they way they had rather then staying together and most likely breaking up anyways. With every glance the tension grows, it’s like electric with sexual undertones.

After dinner they decide that its still early so they Lisa suggests that they go to the strip and people watch and walk around. After a few funny encounters and some random running into’s later, Conner suggests a night cap at his place so that she can say hello to his wife.

They get to his house and Katie isn’t there but there is a note explaining that she went out with friends and will be late. They have a few drinks and just talk and tease like old times. They start to make their way to the door so that Conner and take her home.

They reach the door and Katie comes home. She’s all honey and sugar but her eyes narrow at Lisa suspiciously. The reintroductions are done and Conner and  Lisa leave.

On the way home, Lisa tells Conner to make a detour to the park near her house. When he stops the truck, she just turns and looks at him. They lunge at each other at the same time. Knowing it was wrong, but not being able to think why at the moment. When they separate, finally, they just look at each other. The questions start. What was that? What are we doing? How could we do this? When can I see you again?

Mutual confessions of wanting each other from the second they saw each other again. They know that they are in big trouble because of the attraction that they both feel. Another round of attacking each other’s lips before Conner takes her home.

~ Second and last date: They decide to keep it a public place so that they can avoid attacking each other again. Lisa suggested a bar so that they could just chat over drinks. They talked, played pool, teased, argued, and drank. Enjoying each other’s company. It was still early and the bar scene was getting old so they went back to Conner’s house, thinking that Katie would be the best chaperone they could get. She was out again and was staying the night with a friend.

Conner thought a movie would distract them so he put one on and they lounged on the couch, but talked through the whole thing. Lisa gets up to go to the bathroom. They jokingly argue over who had to pee more, but Lisa wins and goes first. When she is done, Conner is standing against the door frame, blocking her exit.

They joke some more and eventually he goes into the bathroom. When he’s done, Lisa tries to block the door like he did, but he just picks her up to move her out of the way.

Lisa is laughing and squirming as he tickles her, still in his arms. She notices a pained expression on his face. She realizes that she wore a skirt that night and his grip was on her butt so that she didn’t fall. He kept readjusting because she was squirming so much and his finger tips were brushing the inside of her panties. Conner walked with her until her back was against the hall way wall and wrapped her harms around his neck. She tightened her thighs around his waist for grip. They stared at each other for a second before loosing the battle that they were fighting all night.

~ Lisa leaves again: Lisa’s vacation is over and she is now more confused then ever. It’s apparent that she and Conner have feelings for one another, but they are both married, they decide to keep in touch through phone and emails and go back to being friends.

~ Back Again (welcome home) : Lisa and her husband and daughter move closer to her parents. Conner and Lisa are still in touch and Lisa is excited to see him again. She talks Conner into having a double date with the spouses. (He protests for obvious reasons) They go to a nice restaurant and things are tense. All the feeling from the last visit was still there.

Lisa makes some bold moves when the spouses aren’t looking and Conner scolds her when they are finally alone.

~ The vacation: Six months later, Lisa and Conner have managed to control themselves. A few stolen kisses in the truck and that was it. Conner mentions that him and Katie have been on each others nerves lately and Lisa reveals the same for her and Jake.

They decide that a group vacation is in order. They go to Maui and get villa so that they are all together.

It’s late and despite the change of location, Jake and Lisa are fighting. Jake drops the “D” word on her and goes to bed. Since they had left Leah with Lisa’s parents, she decides to go for a walk. Her walk lasted until she got down stairs and noticed the pool.

She already had her suit on and so she went swimming. Not long after her, Conner showed up.
They play in the pool, splashing around and playing childish games. The conversation turns serious and they make love in the pool.

When they land back on Oahu, Lisa moves back in with her parents and files for divorce.
~Lisa Now Newly Single: Lisa hasn’t talked to Conner in a while, other then a few texts here and there, because of the divorce. They that it’s finally settled, she decides to text him and tell him.

Later that night Conner shows up at her parent’s house. They go for a drive to a secluded area and Conner pulls out a bottle of champagne and two glasses as a joke. They toast to Lisa’s new single status and just talk about life in general.

Katie leaves Conner three months later, using the “It’s not you, it’s me…” line. After another six months of giving it there best shot, they divorce. When Lisa fins out, she comes to visit him with a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of crown.

~ For us: Lisa and Conner talk for hours about their relationship and decide that they should start over from the beginning. Dating.

Conner picks up Lisa for drinks; they go to the same bar they went to before. They drink, play pool, tease, and argue.

Conner drops her straight off at home; they are both determined to behave themselves to see if there is anything other then sex in their relationship.

On the fourth month of dating and all but raping each other when they say good night in the car, Conner finally asks if Lisa wants to come over for a night cap.

They only make it through the front door.

~ For good: It’s been three years. Leah is now 8 and going into the 3rd grade. Lisa and Conner have moved in together.

Conner is giving Leah some last minute advice about her first day of school. Lisa drives Leah to school and as she’s dropping her off, sees Jake waiting. Leah says a quick good by and gets out, running and greeting her dad with a hug. He tells her good luck and she runs off to find her friends.  Jake walks over to Lisa’s car and they talk.

Slightly awkward conversation. Lisa hears a car horn honk and they both look. Jake waves to the person and says that he has to go. As Lisa pulls away, she sees its Katie in the car that honked.
